Can shore managers customize which metrics they see?
Yes. The fleet dashboard supports pinning, resizing, and rearranging metrics cards. Different teams (such as Technical, Crewing, or Safety) can build distinct command layouts focused on their responsibilities.
Does the dashboard update in real time when vessels are offline?
Vessel updates are queued locally on the crew app while at sea. Once a vessel establishes satellite or port connectivity, all updates replay automatically, bringing the dashboard up to date as soon as the vessel is back in range, with timestamps preserved.
How are role permissions managed on the dashboard?
WaterTightVM uses granular rank-based permissions matching standard maritime structures. You can configure read, write, or approve access for DPAs, superintendents, crewing managers, and masters independently.
Is our company data kept secure and isolated?
Yes. Each company's data is isolated and encrypted, and is never visible to other operators. Database queries and document storage are scoped to your tenant.
